I'm having trouble with my phone since I used linux deploy to try to install Kali linux. After looking through forums for days and trying several fixes, I gave up but now my phone freezes even after restoring an old back up and wifi even disappeared completely.
I want to do a full wipe in TWRP, system, data, cache, all of it. I want to know if I'll lose root. If I will, what is the best way to re-root a Samsung Galaxy S4 in 2016? All the threads I saw on this forum are years old and we've had firmware updates since then. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
