Hi Guys,

I have this annoying problem and I'll ll be glad if someone can help me.

I have the Korean Samsung Galaxy Note 4 SM-N916S, Rooted android version 5.1.1

I live in the Philippine and I'm using local SIM Card. I can make out/in phone calls.

The problems are:

1. Many times I get the message "network not register" restart the phone fix the problem, sometime I need to restart the phone twice

2. when I switch on the phone I get warning message "Data mobile off/on"

3. Can't send SMS to UK

4. The Sim Tool Kit can run and I need to use some substitute app, which not work so well

After I dig deep the Internet I got to understand the problem came because the phone is Korean version and It will fix only by Change the CSC Code from 'KOR' to International version

no matter what I did I can't change it to any other CSC code, from the error messages I understand to change the CSC Code I should have Multi CSC firmware, which I don't have.

Processors of Mi5 Variants

Hello Xda-ians,does anyone know the difference between the processors of MI5 variants.As the processor of the 32gb variant is clocked at 1.8 ghz and rest of the two variants are clocked at 2.1 ghz i want to know that whether the 32gb variant processor is only underclocked or is there any difference in architecture also

Xperia E3 factory reset fail

Hello,

I had a small storage in my phone (in description was 4GB, but 2GB takes Android, 1,4GB original apps, and I can't uninstall it, and I have got 0,6GB to use. But phone needs 200MB free to run, so I have got approximately 400MB of storage :/. So I decided to use ROOT to uninstall original apps, and move apps to SD card. All was OK, unlocked bootloader sucefully, ROOTed it using KingRoot, uninstalled apps, moved all to SD card using LINK2SD. All was OK. But I looked for some other app to move to SD card. I found any. Started it, it took about 20 min. and after that 80% apps doesn't run. I thought it moved ALL to SD card, before that I can't use it, It is in SD card, but what can I do with that? So I used that app to give it back. Nothing. So I uninstalled app, and I decided to factory reset. I reseted it using menu (settings), when appeared last button to start it, nothing happened, so I clicked it several, I closed and opened settings, but nothing. So I placed phone on the table, and after 5 minutes it started (Phone was very laggy). I saw Android robot, and after few seconds it took off. After that, I saw "SONY XPERIA", "POWERED BY ANROID" and blue screen. I thought all is OK and device is reseting. But no. Few seconds after blue screen it stopped, and took off. And again. Start, "SONY XPERIA", "POWERED BY ANDROID", blue screen, and OFF. I left it for about 3 hours, but still the same. I waited until it runs out. I turned it ON, and again. I tried many tools using PC (SONY PC EXPANION, EMMA, FLASHTOOL), but nothing. :confused:
I think it can't run because:
a) Some important data are in SD cart, but phone doesn't use SD card when reseting.
b) I clicked it many times, so it lagged because that.

I think I can't use tools because I can't get to the recovery mode. Phone can't do anything besides "Turn OFF, ON, OFF, ON,...

Please help me, I am noob and I'd like to save my phone.
Is there any way to uninstall all from mobile, and install new android using PC?

Samsung's Good Lock

Pros: You can almost get it looking like stock android (which is why i'm keeping it), Notification layout is nice.

Cons: Battery dies faster, Widgets/Apps Tray layouts are useless for me. Recent apps layout is worse.

I have installed Xposed in my Samsung Galaxy Core Plus SM-G350 Stock ROM.I don't know why when i reboot my phone and when i turn my phone on it had deleted all my default apps which i use.The only defults that are not deleted are only defaults that are before Xposed Installing.Any suggestion?

Huawei Mate 8 calling card app issues

Hi there,

I have transferred my calling card app Smart card to my new Huawei Mate 8 using Titanium Backup but it doesn't work.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall it and also other apps like Calling Card Pal and Easy Calling Card but still nothing.

They just don't dial up the dial tone numbers.

Any suggestions on how to solve this?

Error. Camera not available.

Hi!
Last November i bought my E2363 on Amazon.
Now when i open my camera app i get the error message:
"Error. Camera not available." :crying:
I checked on google and they say clear cache of the camera app, try other camera app.
I tried it all but the problem persists.
What do you recommend?

Cat S50 Not turning on ( PC recognize it)

Hello!

My friend have a Cat s50 but suddenly stopped working .

The phone doesnt turn on , or even doesnt turn on the screen when plugged to the charger.

I connected the phone to the PC and it shows this as an unknown driver : "qhsusb bulk"...


Is there anything I can do?

ZTE Z7 startup problem

I have moved to the latest 2.05 firmware. Rooted, installed GAPPS, programs, etc. Everything was fine. Until I resetted the device (couldnot find what caused battery leakage recently). Now I am stuck on the initial Nubia screen where I am offered to choose a language. I make my choice, press next and get a message about an error in settings. That's it.
The phone actually works (just got a call and answered it), but I cannot move behind this initial screen. From lockscreen I can get into the settings, but if I quit this I get back to the language choice again.
The problem is that I do not have any firmware on the internal SD card so I cannot reflash it. When I connect the phone to PC, the phone is not visible since I cannot turn on MTP mode.
Any idea what can be done? Need the phone badly at the moment.

USB OTG

I can't transfer files from my device to USB storage using the USB OTG adapter using ES File Explorer. I can transfer files from USB storage to the device using ES File Explorer. I can't find the USB storage in the phone's built in file manager. If USB OTG is native on this device, should there be a problem here?

Deleting Bloatware from LG LS665 [Question]

I have my phone rooted, but unlike my previous phone, a motorola, there is no forum for it, since it's pretty new-ish. So I was wondering if any one has a list of system/bloatware apps that can be safely deleted without destroying my phone?

I'm pretty sure all the google apps can be removed without negative affects and that voice mail app that puts it in text format, but beyond that, I'm not sure.

Titanium Backup hangs up on restore in N preview

Hi all, I'm having the classic issue of Titanium Backup getting hung up at 0% when restoring on the N dev preview. I flashed supersu beta 2.71 and have busy box installed. I also have allowed installation from unknown sources, have enabled USB debugging, and disabled mount namespace separation in supersu. I'm all out of ideas and I really need to restore this foshiz. Any help would be appreciated. (This is a nexus 6 of course).

Which of the following you think is better?

LG G4 vs Walton ZX2.

Now I know LG G4 is one of hell of a phone in its price but the other one I mentioned is manufactured in my country(and not available outside). It's price is also quite same so I was wondering which one's actually better. Unlike G4, Walton's reviews,user opinions are not available. Walton's not a huge smartphone manufacturer. Broken phone - PC transfer [Help]

I have a zte warp sequent and it got into a little accident
I left it in my bag and my bottle of juice spilled inside so not only were my books soaked, so was the phone
Worst part is that the phone had cracks so I felt my heart drop when I found out. I tried to turn it on after drying it everywhere and it is able to turn on HOWEVER
the screen is forever black . so I can't use it and I want to transfer game data since google play doesn't support it. I saw that one forum by k.janku1 but I'm not entirely sure if it could work for me
I didn't want to go through 26 pgs worth reading.
One time I tried to fix the phone myself by taking it apart (yes I am a Amature) I only got so far but I didn't know how to get closer to my screen since I didn't have the proper tools so I put it back together and its back to its current state. I feel like there is no hope but at the same time I do
The phone is rooted. But I don't remember everything that was exactly on it. :confused:

So I tried the test code of LG, in the display test, I see some backlights(like 0.5mm of lights) of the mainscreen went off right under the front camera.

Stuck in recovery and home button not working

so i wanted to root my galaxy y but the home button was not working so i used adb command adb reboot recovery to reboot the phone into recovery. the phone rebooted in recovery but now as home button doesnt work i cannot select anything and also even if i pull the battery out and put it back in and reboot..it still reboots into recovery. i cant use odin as i cannot boot into download mode also the button not working is most probably a hardware issue
so is there any way to make this work?? please help

Any way to flash twrp without losing data?

I'm currently hesitating whether or not to flash twrp (to test the stereo sound mod for now, but I'm sure there will be plenty other reasons in the future). Thing is, I filled my phone with tons of customization settings, spent hours (literally) restoring my 30k sms from my old phone, and I just don't want to lose all my data and even the internal storage when I flash twrp!
Is there a way around that bootloop that does not force me to lose everything (or some way to fully restore nand afterwards)?

[THEME] Touchwiz...ish Theme for FULMICS Rom v1.3.2

Hello everyone!
I'd like to present the first "real theme" for LG G3
The story behind is that I just hate LG's UI, it's so childish and cartoonish and just awfull so I wanted to change that, I want a different theme, a better one.
First I wanted a stock theme but for that everyone can flash a stock aosp rom and for G3 roms there are plenty of aosp theme and then it hit me...Samsung...Touchwiz...more precisely Galaxy S7's Touchwiz so I started working on that and trust me, LG's own framework is a pain in the a*s. It was so difficult and hard to get that but finally I did it.
So now I present you my theme, Touchwiz...ish Theme for LG G3 (based on Fulmics 4.2)

Compatibility: Fulmics 4.2 for now, try it on different rom and report to me if you please

[Help]Regarding CM12 Header Icons

Hello guys, I'm currently using Euphoria (cyanogenmod 12 based) Rom on GT-i9505.

I just want to ask some questions regarding the header & expanded header icons.
is there any way to hide those icons in the upper right?

is there any options to hide these? or, is there any apps you can suggest?? like xposed or something?.

Mobile Data stops working, and MMS does not work (CM 13)

First the basics. Nexus 6p received 3/30. I did NOT turn it on and update it to the latest stock firmware before proceeding. Rather I immediately unlocked bootloader, installed TWRP, installed CM13 and GApps Nano from OpenGApps. Running on T-Mobile's network using a cut down Micro SIM from my Oneplus One down to Nano size.

I'm running the latest CM13 release snapshot, ZN0EAO1T5, and my mobile data will work initially with LTE upon boot or restart. After a short time (minutes) it will no longer have a data connection. Calls and SMS still go through. While the data is active, if I turn on Wifi and then later return to mobile data the data is not active. In the status bar it just has the triangle signal icon without any indication of type of data connection (i.e. LTE, HSPA+, 3G, etc.). When I pull down the quick setting menu it does list LTE on the mobile connection quick setting button.

Additionally, MMS does not work no matter what I do. Mobile data connection or Wifi. I've researched the T-Mobile APN settings thinking this could have been the issue and no editing there changed anything.

I will likely try to restore to current factor images and begin again to see if that helps. I'll probably go get a proper Nano SIM from T-Mo today too just in case there is any issue along that front.

Anyone else experience this? Anyone else run across others having this issue? It seem separate from the 6.0.1 issues I witnessed with stock ROMs while searching but perhaps I'm wrong.

New battery for SM-T520 Tab Pro 10.1

Hi, i want to get a new battery for my tab since this one is giving me only up to 5hrs SOT (i have read it should be more than 9hrs sot). So i searched eBay and there are many low priced batteries but i don't believe that they are good. I need a help where to look for an OEM or a good generic battery?
Also i found newpower 99 batteries but they seem a little expensive and i haven't found a review about quality.
If you have any experience, your help would be appreciated.

Xperia T microphone software problem, please help!

Ok guys, let me explain you my problem:
Recently I bought used Xperia T from online store, and seller told me that phone have problem with software. I have flashed a lot of ftf files, and some custom ROMs using TWRP, and in ALL cases my microphone doesn't work, no matter how i want to use it (camera, calling, voice recording (it records noisy sound without detecting any other tones) etc.). When I try to make call other people can't hear me, even when earphones with microphone is plugged in (I suppose that calling should work well because of headphone mic). Only ROM that can make my Xperia works as it should is CM10, 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. So the problem is in software related, not hardware. So I wanted to ask you guys for some piece of advice- what should I do to make newer version of android works on my Xperia. Is there any "microphone drivers", "audio routing", or something similar, just to get some clue about where to start exploring. I cannot use PC Companion since my device is prototype unit. If you have any suggestion, please help me.

always having to go to the settings and keep changing the "standard" chip, before of call...

is there any solution for this?

W806 Alps (Aka K18) MAC wifi issue

Hi all,
Is there anyone having this weird issue?
It looks like every time the wifi gets disconnected or disabled (or the phone is switched off) the MAC address of the wifi CHANGES!
Which for me, since my router is open but access is limited to MACs allowed to connect, is a pain

Hello, for the people enjoying ambient mode but scared of having it enabled while inside the pocket installing touch lock free from the play store would be a perfect solution for that problem . Touch lock disables touch sensitivity when it's enabled making ambient display secure when it's inside your pocket .. (No more accidental porn downloads on your Nexus 6 ;))

Unable to unlock bootloader. Command write failed!

Today i've flashed new Os 3.0.0 and after flashing i got struck at OnePlus logo with no recovery. Anyhow i managed to boot up into Os but now i'm unable to unlock boot loader. when i tried code "fastboot oem unlock"

Oxygen 3.0 MM Deodexed and Debloated

INSTRUCTIONS:
1 - If you are coming from cm13, exodus or other rom that uses the old firmware and bootloader you can download the file and clean install as a normal rom;

2- In other way if you had installed the original oxygen 3.0 from oneplus, you need to revert to old bootloader (http://ift.tt/1MWgxLD) you can find the instructions to revert in that link.

Which rom & kernel?

Hi. I just upgraded from Z3 compact to N5X. I was really satisfied with my Z3c, but I wanted a change. Now I'm trying to figure out which rom and kernel I should choose? Any recommendation? Priorities is battery life and performance (I'm not playing any games tho)

Also, should I flash the rom first and then the kernel afterwards?

I am not a fan of the camera app that comes with CM 10.2.1. Can anyone recommend a good camera app, any way to get the stock s4 camera app on the phone?

z3v emergency ?

the situation is today can update to 5.1.1 Mine meal with TWRP . but due to the fault can not get up to send a message . XDA load on the table so I preprooted ( flashable - prerooted Z3V with mods.zip 5.1.1 ) . then reboot into TWRP his actions : wipe > advance wipe > click : davik cache , system , cahe . wait for it to run is complete, select the file to install Z3V flashable - prerooted 5.1.1 with mods.zip had put in the memory . ok but it does not install dc error .
then restart the computer hangs at the SONY logo . fim1 pressed his source + volume ( - ) , the entry into the system recovery dc something few lines
Power up continue
safe mode
power dow
factory reset

dow only power line is always turned off the machine while the other lines also restart and hang SONY logo .
. do you know how to fix it yourself with only .

Automatic Switch Off Problem( need to reinsert battery to switch on)

Hi, some weird problem i am facing since yesterday.. that my phone get automatically switch off and to switch it on i had to re insert the battery.. the power button won't work at that time
i thought hard resetting it might be the solution, but still the same problem after the reset..
anybody had the same problem? any solution?

I will be getting a Shield Portable in the next couple days, and want to create a custom kernel, but I have no idea where to download the latest kernel source. Everything I've found is seemingly too old to be the latest.

Can anyone point me to a download link?

Another Noob Fire TV Stick Question Pls - Can I root on latest firmware?

when i purchased my stick the other day I registered and allowed it to update the software.

Am I correct in saying I will not now be able to root the stick :(

if i am wrong about this can someone please give me details on my best options to root and if I do this will I then be able to install the G Play Store?

[ROOT] Which TWRP for PKL-TL01H EMUI4.0_PLK-TL01H_6.3.16

Hi,

I just successfully unlocked the bootloader of my phone, but i'm now looking forward to install TWRP. As there are many different versions and because this is the most sensitive step, I'd like to know which version exactly of TWRP am I supposed to use?

I know when you use a wrong version of TWRP, this causes boot loops and it's very difficult to get out of it. So i would like to make sure considering the version i have (PLK-TL01H) and the current ROM (PKL-TL01H EMUI4.0_PLK-TL01H_6.3.16) which TWRP to use.

[Request] Kernel 3.10.X request for mediatek mt6582 for Honor 3c (H30-u10)

Can any dev please build or patch a kernel version "3.10.x" for our this device? [Honor 3c (h30-u10)]
There are quite a lot of lollipop ROMs out there for this device mostly cm12.1 but they all use kernel 3.4.67. This makes the device not so good in lollipop. If anyone can help with this regard that would be very dope. Cheers!

anyone notice unresponsive key backspace for swiftkey

just like my title, whenever I use SwiftKey my backspace and space bar is unresponsive. I don't have a screen protector and everything else works fine but these edges don't seem. to register my touch sometimes. not sure if it's my phone or swiftkey

[Q] Please confirm my thought process Root/Upgrade

Hi,

I want to root and install CM13 on my H815 10c International G4.

For rooting i`ll use this guide:

After root, CM sites states: For CyanogenMod 13.0 it's required that your device is running stock Android 6.0 (H815_V20A or higher).
So i need to first flash a 6.0 ROM, but which? I found this: H81520B_00 zip 1.4GB.. but i`m not sure that this will install cleanly once rooted.

Basically how to i get to 6.0 so i can install CM13?

How to? Sync Music and Playlists Windows->Android

Hey guys

I tried a couple of app's and options to sync the music I have ('normal' mp3's and 'normal' m3u's) with my phone - I was max half successful until now.

May I ask you how you do that? And please don't tell me spotify, google music or something like that ;)
