New device, what order do I do everything?

I got a s7 edge about 5 days ago. I always go 2-3 years between devices so I forget all this stuff but if someone can just put the plan in the proper order for me and answer a quick question or two I'm sure I can find the threads.

First, I have
software version G935PVPU2APD3
model SM G935P
6.0.1
If you need more info ask and I'll edit this.

Is my device rootable yet?
Should I update anything first? If so what?

then root via CF
install a rom
install titanium
remove bloat (is there a list of what can be safely removed and what can't?)
set it up the way I like
I'm done?
