Hindsight's a wonderful thing, looking back!
I appear to have bricked my device. I have the exclamation mark in a triangle, with the following message:
"An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software"
I have the box which the phone came in so have the IMEI number, but need the serial number to use on Smart Switch.
Phone is SM-G935F model, which was running Tekxnesis rom, rooted. I was attempting to reinstall stock firmware, as I was having issues with the phone (Rom was excellent I hasten to add), and that's when the problem arose.
I have Googled but have drawn a blank, so any ideas would be most helpful.
