e-Passport NFC reader
Android app that uses the NFC chip to communicate with an electronic passport. To decode data from the chip, app needs some information upfront (passport number, date of birth and passport expiration date).
App is open source, so you can check out the code on GitHub. To communicate with passport app uses JMDTD library which is also open source.
Not all passports are compatible with NFC chips in Android phones, so your passport might not work. App has been tested with Russian passport. If you experience any problems with the app, please create an issue on GitHub instead of leaving one star review on the Google Play.
