I know u r in big trouble right now bcz u can't on your wi-fi (i was in trouble so)


If u install some bad rom in your moto g then sometime u can't on your wifi

It only stay at "turning on wi-fi" bt can't on...

If u have a that problem in your moto g ....then thia tutorial is for you ...and if u don't have this problem in your moto g, then u will get this problem and u have to come again in this thread MARK MY WORDS :p

I made a zip file for fix that problem.... so first plz download that file from attachment

Requirements

1 ROOTED MOTO G
2 TWRP 3.0.0.2 (Other also worked)
3 ZIP FILE (in attachment)
4 ES FILE EXPLORER
5 CONCENTRATION AND BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF "TWRPing"
6-write this whole thread in notebook so it useful while TWRPing (else open this thread in computer )

So let's start

Step 1 - First extract zip file ... u will find "1234567890" folder(name)

Step 2 Copy that folder in this path SDCARD/TWRP/BACKUP

Step 3- now reboot in recovery (twrp)

Step 4- wipe data,system,dalvik cache ,cache

Step 5 mount all partitions

Step 6- now go in to restore backup

Step 7 - u will find backup name "skyraj" n two options 1 is Persist n 2 is system

Step 8 restore both partitions

Step 9 now again mount all partitions

Step 10 now go to file manager in twrp

Step 11 go in system path, u will find folder name as "skyraj" rename that folder as "etc"
So final path is system/etc/firmware/wlan/prima

Step 12 - now install cm latest nightly

Step 13 wipe cache n dalvik cache

Step 14- reboot moto g

Step 15- now try to on wi-fi ..... WI-FI ON

Njoy frnds...

1- your mac address will change... and it's random set by me
(But u can change it by your self)
2 i m not responsible for anything goes wrong

3 just be sure to make a Nandroid backup

Xperia X keyboard - no separate threads for Xperia X?

Hi guys!

Seems like there's no separate threads for Xperia X.

I'm currently using the 34.0.A.1.264 firmware on Xperia X and some of the keypresses are recognized as a straight swipe line when typing fast and thus Swiftkey keeps assuming wrong words… I was wondering if any of you guys already have the latest firmware versions to double check this.

You can easily check this behavior by entering *#*#SERVICE#*#* on your dialer, choose Service Tests, then Touch, then Free Drawing test and then pretending you're typing with both thumbs at high speed.

No boot only blinking red light after TWRP Update

Hey guys,
Yesterday, I've tried to update the TWRP Version to 3.02. I've downloaded the version which fits to my Xperia ZL and flashed the new version within the installed TWRP. After that I wanted to reboot to the system but it doesn't work.
The blinking red light when plugged to the charger is normally a hint for a broken battery...but the battery has never been a problem and before the update it was charged up to 60%.

Is there a possibility to get my phone working again?

Review Sikai 3d tempered glass

I just received Sikai 3d tempered glass. I order 19.05. and i received today (31.05.-to Croatia (EU)). Glass fit perfect and stick on all screen. None issue. I have before nillkin temp.glass and will leave this. Package was perfect. Cuts on glass are perfect. All sensors work like it should work. Touch work as normal, and has no effect on the screen (image) quality of the screen. Highly recomended. I use it with Orzly Onyx case and fit perefct.

well i really love this phone with the size and build. the plastic on 5x is not ugly as on samsung. its beautiful and you dont have to wear any case. the problem is the processor and ram I wish there would be a newer 5x that comes with 4gb of ram and snapdragon 820 + a better screen color accurate ( not amoled of course) damn the best phone ever.

what do yu think guy?

I am new to the xda developers and a bit confused about the procedure of flashing new mm rom.. want to experiance the stock android 6.0 as we are still stuck with the kitkat 4.4.
while visiting the cm13 thread i saw in the instructions that we need to unlock the bootloader in order to flash any of the mm roms,

I have already reuested on miui for unlocking my bootloader but came to know that it may take around 15 days,,
feeling a bit confused:confused: about the whole process,

asslamu alekum..here is the MIUI v5 4.8.9 by dom3616 but i try to make some fix on it:

1-wifi and hotspot working fine now even if you change the settings of the wifi hotspot it will change.before it was not save any change of hospot wifi settings.

2-contacs import export working now.

3-make the lock screen smother and faster.

4-storage memory fixed too.

5-apns fixed.

6-i add some programs as: estrong file manger and OPMM( opera mini mod and translated to english too) xposed and xposed model nova launcher and its telsa appk...

**to use nova launcher you must go to settings>disaple>default lancher and change it from there.

**bug still noticed:
-widget contact cant be created..

**Download the RAR file and extract it you will find the rom inside

Updating help

Hey guys,

I have been using a 5.0.2 rooted firmware for the longest time possible and it is time for my to update my firmware because of certain battery issues.

How should I go about updating it? I did supersu's full unroot and tried the original software update but I still get the error message saying that my firmware is modified.

Tried out smart switch restore+update but after downloading the firmware and putting my phone to download mode, it gets stuck at 0%, not sure if its my wire issue because its a 3rd party wire, lost all my original wires so far with no more ideas I can come up with.

I am currently downloading my firmwares from sammobile which is taking ages, with the risk of the download corrupting halfway through. Can I flash a 6.0.1 stock firmware on my 5.0.2 and magically everything will work and my phone will be on 6.0.1 and then I can proceed to root it again? My download mode shows that I am using official samsung firmware but its custom. Or do I need to find a 5.0.2 stock firmware then flash it and update from there? I can't find my region's 5.0.2 anymore because its too old, I'm from Singapore by the way.

Any help is greatly appreciated, have been trying for 6 hours to get this to work so far and frankly I dont think I want to go through the trouble of rooting once I update to 6.0.1 because of this cumbersome process just to try and minimize battery drain.

Mobile data UK

I bought the handset in UK and everything works fine except I cannot get the mobile data to work. I have a good reception, the handset shows 3G but no arrows to the side of it. I have changed the APN settings to my network (Talkmobile), switched on mobile data etc. but still no mobile data, please help.

G900F wifi problem 6.0.1

I upgraded to 6.0.1 stock and I have problems with wifi .
When the phone goes sleep lose connection to the network and when switch on do not always recover it.
I tried various settings but have not solved the problem , for now I installed wifi keep alive as a workaround , but I'd like to know if there is a better solution

SD Card keeps corrupting itself

I'm on a moto g 2014 with latest nightly of CM 13, its been a couple of weeks now that my SD card shows up as corrupted on my android again and again, sometimes its just not visible or unmounted so i have to re-insert the SD card to make it visible but other times it just gets corrupted and i have to move data to pc and re-format/copy and paste. i don't know its happening, it shows up on my PC just fine.. any help please?

[HELP]Root + Recovery for M4 Aqua Dual E2363

Hi everyone.
I'm Pablo and recently i bought an M4 Aqua Dual E2363.
First thing that i do after this is run for XDA and search a way to root my phone.
Found some tutorials, but no one of these worked for me.
So i thought "The fact that my cellphone is a dual version means that all the to-do texts about how to root M4 single SIM will not work for me?"

Can any good soul help me to find a tutorial that works for me?
To anyone that already root your own M4 aqua, this help to fix things like overheat and lag in some games?

Latest Android release

Seeing specifications like this one: "6.0.1_r35 is more recent than 6.0.1_r43" I am a little bit confused, because I am trying to think logically that the version history goes from the 35 to 43, from small to big number, but ... I saw that maybe I am wrong, because of the updates in Github.

Could someone to indicate a link where to find the most recent version/release of Android? I mean not links like this one http://ift.tt/OSiz7W or this one http://ift.tt/1WW0Tst, because I am interested in the most recent ... modified / updated -ish kind of version (I suppose is Github, but I really don't know how to find it.

How to make android boot from sd card??

So i have a old phone HTC Wildfire S
I have installed some costume roms and am happy with them. But when it comes to storage i have just 140mb free :crying: so thats not enought
one time my brother was able to install a costum rom into sd card so it booted from sd card and i had more memory(i had my sd card memory about 1gb free memory) and when i installed another coutume rom the ROM that was inside the sd card was deleted. Now i dont know how to install a costume rom inside of the sd card again :/ can sombody help me?? Just want to install roms into sd card so i can have more free space
Iv searched and i read that i need to have a .img rom but i couldnt find 1 :/ Anybody can help how to install a rom inside of sdcard ??
(I asked my brother but he said he forgot, he installed rom inside sd card long ago so yeah)

[QUESTION] How do you make custom ROM?

Hi,

I wanted to ask this in other subforum, but this is my first post and I don't have permission there. Do you have a guide to recommend for creating custom roms?
I know a lot about Linux, I can compile kernels, patch, I know C a little. I programmed couple of Android apps, in Java and Go, so I guess I have some basic knowledge.

What do you guys do, with what source do you start? Is it a stock android source but you modify kernel and modules or you need first to find exact source for that phone?
For example, I own a Lenovo A560, and would like to try build custom rom for it. What would be the first steps?

Which ROM are you running?

The Z3 community seems to be spoilt for choice with a large number of official ROMS for the device. (surely more than any other phone. Coming from G2, it's amazing to see how Sony have managed to keep so many of the xda community on stock roms! :) )

Which one are you using?

I'm on the Concept Edition. The thread about this isn't as active as others in the General forum, but for me it's the perfect mixture balance between the official Marshmallow rom (not close enough to stock for me) and the Android N preview (tried preview 2, too many bugs at that stage).

No complaints about Concept really, it would be nice if it was a bit more customization like CM13 on other phones, but I'll be sticking with this ROM, hopefully Sony continue to update it.

please help about kernel-recovery question of mine ?

for a while i am using custom roms and other stuff but i could not get the logic of kernel and recovery. i know that recovery is the surface software we re using it to set up our system and other things.
and the kernel is the bridge between softwares and hardwares on device. but the question is.
which one should be install (or flash) first by the base and the second.

-example: i am looking for a good kernel and then search for a recovery to work with it and install upon the kernel ? or the other way. ?

Blurred images in Android Studio

Im making a pixel art game in Android Studio.

The imagen is 516x122 px so the size is correct but I dont know if the device zooms the application..

For example, the same App in Adobe Air, fits correctly because is designed in 240×320px and the device fits the application to screen perfectly. The application Is zoomed but pixels are zoomed perfectly. Is there any way to conserve the pixels and don't get blurred images?

Stops Responding and Randomly Shuts Down

Hello everyone,

I have a Note 4 and yesterday it started acting funny. It would randomly stop responding then shut down. For instance, I was in the play store and clicked in the search area and noticed the keyboard would not open. Tried hitting the home, recents and back to no success. Had to battery pull to turn it back on and now even that will not work any more. On the off chance it does work, it works for about a minute or so and then shuts down.

I have tried running with with and without SD Card
I have factory restored it
Installed a Custom TW Rom and Custom AOSP Rom

The only thing I can think is that it could be battery but the stop responding part worries me a bit... like maybe there is a hardware issue that cannot be fixed.

Had the phone for about 2 to 3 years, same battery as when I got it.

Bluetooth Buggy?

Hello,

i have a MTCD_KGL Head Unit and i am not able to connect to my Bluetooth GPS ( Nokia LD-3W ).



It is shown in the List of available devices, but no PIN Dialog shows up.


I have tried some Bluetooth Pairing apps, but they all wan't to enable Bluetooth first which does not respond.






Any Suggestions?

Big cluster Problem

Vodafone Smart 4 (Vodafone 888)

I somehow managed to brick my phone, a Vodafone Smart 4. I tried reinstalling the OS with the Coolpad software, and I failed... Multiple times. Now I was wondering what can I do, taking in consideration the fact that I can not access Recovery Mode, I'm stuck on "Powered by Android" and the only thing it does is going into another screen, which in showing in the upper left corner the word "modem" and on the right side of the screen it says "up" and "down"... Any ideas?

I'm looking for latest ota.zip update for my G870A, I'm an oversea user so I can't simply download it from att network.
In detail I need G870AUCU2COJ3 to PB1, from PB1 to PB2 and finally from PB2 to PB3.
I used to get it from muniz_ri page, but unfortunately now I can't find the most recent updates.
In the end should be nice to have a discussion regularly update with new ota.zip update.

Using and android pay while being rooted?

I would like to know if once you fully root your phone and go S-Off can you still use Android pay?

I haven't rooted yet but plan on doing so but just want to be fully aware of what I would lose by rooting. Also outside of Android pay is there anything else you would lose or won't work correctly after root.

Oh and sorry if this has been said before, I at least didn't see quickly anything posted about this...

Flashing ROMs and using adopted storage?

I want to know if it's possible, scratch that I'm sure it's possible to use adopted storage with custom ROMs but should I?

So when you use it you combine your SD card storage with your internal, so if you flash ROMs a lot won't it not recognize it after each flash? Thus if you have pictures kr whatever saved on it the new ROM won't be able to read it?

I figure you could just set it up as adopter storage again but if you store music, pictures, and movies on it you would just lose it all each time you flash a different it new ROM. Is that accurate?

I haven't tried it myself yet so don't know, but would like to understand it before I do and I'd it's even worth doing if yours always flashing.

Games are crashing and themes are not installing.

I tried visiting theme store for samsung it says ur device is not compatible and tried changing themes from settings phone shows no response . And i installed games like injustice and wolf among us...they are just crashing after giving a black screen. Don't knw whts the real issue with them. Please anyone help!

ASUS ZenFone 3, Deluxe, Ultra - Opinions

Hey guys, now that Asus has unveiled the specs and pricing of Asus Zenfone 3 variants, what do you think?

Asus ZenFone 3 is the most basic model of the three. It has an aluminum frame body with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass on the front and back. On the front is a 5.5-inch 1080p Super IPS+ display with up to 500 nits brightness and 77.3% screen to body ratio.
The Zenfone 3 also has a 16 megapixel camera on the back with ASUS TriTech autofocus that combines second generation laser autofocus, phase detection autofocus and contrast detection autofocus to achieve focus in 0.03 seconds.
The handset runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 and has up to 4GB of RAM. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the back.

Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe is the flagship model. It has a full metal body with no visible antenna lines and 4.2mm edges. It is built around a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with over 100% NTSC color gamut and 79% screen to body ratio.

[Q] Issue with Google Play Services Smart Lock and position

I've an issue with smart lock and the location in general with google play services. Every time I want to add location/edit location in Smart Lock, Google Play Services crash immediately. Share location through stock message app? Same problem.
I've tried to wipe app chace, downgrade and upgrade it (but seems I can't do it the proper way because although I've installed the -448 version, it won't work and even the Play Store gave me issue with updating: error DF-DLA-15).
So FULL WIPE and it work proper, but after re-installed all the app, it return to crash. I've tried to unistall some of the re-installed app (the most part of it haven't been configured) but neither this can fix the problem.
Can someone help me please?

i got a random reboot and freeze problem with G925F since MM 6.0.1

since MM6.0.1 updated officialy from samsung, i got a random reboot and freeze problem, I tried to flash the rom again
and wipe cache and reset factory setting (normal and hard one ) and flashed another rom and downgrading back to lollipop
nothign actually work
seems the problem is not on the ROM or MM 6.0.1 no longer
anyone face this problem or found a solution for it ?

Root the new Samsung Android 4.4.2 XXUCOI4

I have the original ROM 4.4..2 I9195XXUCNK4 and managed to root the phone with CF-Auto-Root-serranolte-serranoltexx
I saw that Samsung has released a new version I9195XXUCOI4
I installed it, but it's not possible to root it with the same patch CF Auto
the installation in download mode execute correctly, but when reboot the root checker says it's not coorectly rooted so i can't modify the system file (for example to delete Camera Shutter sound)

Any one has tried to root the new version of Samsung ? is there a different patch to root ?
I thought it may be needed to install a new recovery, but i don't which it !

Honor 7 app icons not updating

Dear honor 7 users,

I don't know if you have experienced this but when an app updates through google play the icons on your homescreen (the look of the icon) from old to new should change automatically, however, this does not happen on my phone which I find to be very strange.

Whenever an icon is updated it reflects on your homescreen as the old icon is changed to the new logo of the icon, for example Instagram has recently changed the look of their icon but I still see the old one on my phone. How do I update my app icons?

Is there a bug in EMUI which prevents this from happening or something wrong with my google play or phone itself?

Please help!

Galaxy j7: Problems about imei and network

Hi I'm using the Galaxy J700H phone its like 2mos old, and have the exact same problem, so please can you help me? My problem is, I think my IMEI number? When i dialed *#06# on my phone my IMEI is 350000000006 and FTW that's not even my IMEI anymore, I have the original IMEI number here backed up but i tried everything, step by step. But disappointingly nothing worked out. I used this sim card in all of my phones and lastly when i wiped out my phone and flashed custom rom in it, then this happened, then i decided to flash back my stock rom but nothing happened now my phone STILL displays EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY.. pls help

[REQUEST]

Anyonne knows where I can find oficiall firmwares for E2333. I can find some for Latin America or Nordic but none for Portugal ou West Europe. The phone had a the latest firmware until days ago. I was trying to root and flash recovery and in the process I flashed other versions of firmware. Now I have latest version but certanly from other region and the mic don't work. I want to flash a firmware from my region to try to resolve the mic issue but I don't see anywhere a list of firmwares like I does for my previous Samsung.

Can't Synchronise Google Account

It is a Motorola Moto G3 Running Marshmallow.

My phone is in Dutch, but after I go to the dutch equivalent of

Settings > Accounts -> Google -> mygoogleaccount@gmail.com -> menu -> synchronise now

, nothing happens. The listed Google services now all say that last time synch is some date in the past (a couple of weeks ago from now).

On the bottom of the page it says something along the lines of "Can't synchronise right now. Try again later".

Good to know is that the phone is also having other problems; home button not working together with messages and lock screen. (I looked this up and wanted to put a link for reference but can't because I need 10 posts first) I was trying to fix this first and factory reset appears to be the solution. After having looked it up, factory resetting the phone to Lollipop might be the safest bet.

But in order to do the fix by factory reset, I have to back-up my phone first. And in order to back up my phone ...

A cardboard app that mess up your mind

Hi there. We want some feedback.

We made this cardboard app to make "VR-goggles" less nerdy and more enjoyable for everyone presents.

The idea is that this experience is something everyone can take a part of, on the users behalf. So far it have been a success at partys and social gatherings where everyone have a great time laughing when someone is trying to solve even the simplest task. Even some times people challenge each other with two cardboards :)

The features is messing up with the users real view with mirror vision, delay vision (2 second back in time) or upside-down vision.

We had some challenge with the lag, but now the camera pass -through flows pretty well. And we experience that the users only uses this for a short time while solving their task.

What do you think about this? Is there any feature you miss?

bad RAM management

Hello all!

My Mate 7 (MT7-L09) has tremendous difficulties with multitasking. It is unable to keep more than 2 apps running, one in the foreground and one in the background. Out of the 2gb RAM available, about 500 to 750 MB are free for app use. But another problem is that those 500-750 MB's are never used and every app that I switch to from the multitasking view has to reload time and time again. Sometimes, my phone is even unable to run a music (streaming) app in the background or when the screen is off.

Does anyone else have this problem and/or know how to improve the situation?

I have a clean install of B522 installed with no root and minimal apps. "Performance" mode is always enabled and I do not have any malicious apps draining my RAM. Using the stock launcher with little costumization.

Updated Shield to Android 6.0 and when it booted it was stuck in a boot loop

I was watching Youtube on the tablet and if saw it said flash a new OTA so I did and the update download and everything but when it booted up right away the tablet crashed or shut down. If I boot it up you'll see the lock screen for a split second and I saw the tablet was at 100%. So I tried it again and same thing happened. This is the new one and not the old tablet with the bad battery. Don't know what to do.

Mxplayer paid version issues on Huawei P9 plus

Hi Devs, found an annoying issue with using the paid version of Mxplayer ver 1.7 and 1.8 on the Huawei P9 plus. This phone uses a Kirin 955 SOC and it has codecs support for almost all codecs as reported in Aida64.
If I use the paid version then the audio will suffer periodic glitching every 10 secs or so for a split sec. The ad supported version has no issues at all.
Anyway I proceeded to test with the ad supported version of Mxplayer and found the following issues with HW+ decoding:

h264 All fine, no Hi10p support
h265 All fine, no 10 bit support
VC1 HW works but HW+ not supported, no seeking support though
MPEG2 All fine
RMVB Seems to drop half the frames
DivX3.11 Closes Mxplayer

If you need any logs collecting then pls advise how to do that, thanks.

Lenovo Vine P1 brick!

Hello just managed to brick my device!Recoverd it once but now it's gone for good. Flashed the 272 update and it failed, Sahara Fail and the computer recognizes it as a unknown device. Planning to send it back as the waranty covers root too so I can get a new one.I'll try again to flash and I'll let you guys know how it went.

Installation fail in TWRP

I have done an complete wipe now and start from beginning.

When Im are going to install the rom I get this message:



The things is thar the roms dosnt install at all still it says succesfull. And what means with "already up to date".

In fastboot I get this message:

display panel: OKAY

Anyone have any solution? :)

Hi guys! So I was getting me a new ROM yesterday. I saw somewhere that there was a new version of TWRP available, so I decided to update it first. For the first time I thought I'd use the TWRP manager and install the new recovery. It all went well. App downloaded the new rec. Double checked it was the correct one and hit install. Then I got a question and a suggestion of what partition I wanted to install on. I don't know of the partitions so I assumed the app choosed the right one. Installed and when rebooting to rec it stopped on the boot screen. Nothing more happened. After 30 minutes I hit download mode and choosed cancel to get to reboot in to system. Same thing, stuck on the first boot screen. I decided there was nothing else to do but revert back to stock via Odin. The phone sat on the boot screen for about one hour while I downloaded everything needed and set up everything. I then followed the text book and installed latest stock. All went well and phone booted up on stock. I quickly went through the setup wizard and headed straight in to developer mode and ticked OEM and USB debugging. Into Odin again and installed the same TWRP I had before. Did everything I was supposed to, including un tick the reboot box. The rec installed fine. I rebooted into download mode again and selected cancel. Quickly hit the buttons for recovery reboot and saw the welcoming red warning about "recovery is not......". But, to my despair it stuck on the first boot screen again. Have tried the same procedure twice now, but the outcome is the same.Do you think the app ( read: ME ) screwed up the partitions? And if so, should I once again install stock ROM but this time use a PIT file? Been reading about it and it seems like it's very scary to use the PIT. I'm now back on stock with stock recovery and everything works fine. I wanted, so badly, to try out the new CM build from @Rainbow_Dash but...... Any advice guys?

No SU binary installed?

Hello,

I am a newbie here, so please be patient. I apologise in advance if I have not posted my question in the correct place.

I have a Moto G 1st gen (XT1032). The bootloader is unlocked with the eventual goal of installing CM13. Previously, I have done this successfully with my old Moto E (1st gen).

No custom recovery is available, although I have flashed TWRP three times via cmd ...in the hope I could bully the Moto G into getting my own way...but no such luck. The error message on the phone reads: "Mismatched partition size (recovery)."
However, via cmd it would appear to have flashed successfully?
SuperSU reads: "There is no su binary installed and supersu cannot install it..."
Obviously, in an ideal world I should be able to load the missing binary files myself but I don't know where to start?

In spite of the problems, the mobile still appears to work fine, so hopefully, it's only a minor glitch that can be easily rectified. What is the best course of action for me to get this phone rooted and CM13 flashed.?

DNG time issues

I have the EVA-L09 version and when I take pictures in Raw (DNG) there is a discrepancy of around 18 hours of the time the picture was taken and the time shown in the exif data.

Anyone else noticed this?

There doesn't appear to be the same issue in the JPEG taken with the DNG version.

In Es file explorer i see USB 1002 etc but when i ticked i get "can't open file"
I use an usb otg cable like always do ... no luck.
I'm not rooted and i thing the only solution is downgrade to lolipop , is this possible ???
